Project Duration: 2 Years

Budget Approved: 8,60,000.00

Expected Research Outcomes:

The methodology ensures a robust understanding of vertical housing challenges and opportunities by combining qualitative and quantitative insights. The findings will contribute to:

  • Design Guidelines: Recommendations for spatial configurations aimed at enhancing livability and fostering social cohesion in vertical housing for low-income communities. These guidelines may cover aspects such as the arrangement of dwelling units, the design and placement of communal spaces, and circulation patterns within the buildings.
  • Policy Recommendations: Proposals for policies that address challenges related to community management and the cultural adaptation required for successful vertical living.
