Expected Research Outcomes:
- The series of dose steps for MFLD and LFHD calculated in the present study will be comparable with the acute/early effect as in conventional IMRT. Both the early effect and the BED for tumor remains same for all cases and the protocols proposed in this study can provide same tumor control. Therefore, these two schemes will be able to reduce the overall treatment time and costs as well as alleviate the sufferings of the dying metastatic patients with the limited treatment setup.
