Expected Research Outcomes:

  • Adsorption is an attractive pathway for further research and improvement in more efficient nanocomposite, with higher adsorption capacity, for numerous dyes to eliminate the dyes discharged from various industries and thus reduce the contamination of water. Therefore, nanocomposites may contribute to future prospective water treatment processes.
  • Surface modification approaches enhanced the stability and efficiency of Mn-Fe nanocomposite in the water. Magnetic nanoparticles possess an important magnetic property which helps to remove easily in the presence of magnetic fields. The reuse of magnetic nano adsorbent will decrease economic burden and is more convenient to use.
  • Dye removal by adsorption can provide a feasible solution for the treatment of dye-laden water.
  • The current study will be helpful in identifying cost-effective and efficient adsorption methods for the remediation of industrial dyes in wastewater. Finally, the present study also targets various research gaps and their possible solutions.
  • Future studies could target the better utilization of nanocomposite having good adsorption and desorption capabilities, recyclability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • More research will be carried out in this direction because water is the second most precious abiotic component of our ecosystem. More sophisticated technologies are developed so that wastewater can be treated easily, with low costs, at both industrial and pilot scales.
  • Several systematic reviews, several research articles, and a number of conference abstracts and proceedings will be produced from this project. This will eventually increase the reputation of the university.
  • This study will help enormously to achieve Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
