Project Duration: 2 years
Budget approved: 9,82,000/-
Expected Research Outcomes:
- Successful synthesis of cellulose nanocrystals (CNCs) using weak acid hydrolysis of cellulosic pulp.
- Efficient production of polyaniline (PANI) through acid-catalyzed aniline oxidation with a potent oxidizing agent.
- Successful preparation of hybrid composites by dispersing CNCs and PANI via a solution dispersion method.
- Electrochemical supercapacitive assessments of the pristine materials and composite materials, providing insights into their potential as supercapacitor components.
