Expected Research Outcomes:

This proposed research aims to yield comprehensive insights into the barriers hindering the implementation of sustainability in Bangladesh’s spinning industry. By categorizing and ranking these barriers using the innovative fuzzy technique named fuzzy synthetic evaluation (FSE) method, the study will illustrate the primary challenges faced by this sector. The input from existing literature and experts in this field is also very significant. Moreover, the ensuing root cause analysis through CED will provide actionable strategies for controlling these barriers. Consequently, the outcomes are expected to guide industry stakeholders and policymakers in formulating and executing effective sustainability initiatives, fostering a more eco-conscious and resilient spinning sector in Bangladesh.
