Possible outcomes can be summarized as given below:
- Development of a rainwater harvesting system for the AUST premise.
- Quantitative information regarding rainwater potential, system efficacy, and cost-benefit analysis.
- Improved campuswater sustainability, to some extent, by decreasing dependency on external water sources.
- A sustainable water environment for academic institutions.
- Contribution to the awareness building about the necessity of rainwater harvesting systemsand their application where the water scarcity issues are predominant.
- Possibility of widespread adoption of rainwater harvesting practices in Dhaka and similar urban institutions.
